Yes, it's a Ghostbuster mobile, but it's 1:20 BTW. Still, one of my favorite ERTL models.

1:12 Danbury Mint's 1930 Cadillac V-16
berkut76 ответил в теме пользователя berkut76 в 1:18 Scale News
Are you kidding? At our current fuel prices and this monster fuel economy :) However, this model does worth its $500USD price tag. Although, I would have taken 1928 Le Mans Chrysler 72 instead. Regards, Sergey -
Simply breathtaking. Way better quality and fit and finish than my Dong Feng Golden Dragon by Signature. Regards, Sergey

Невероятно! И девушки тоже коллекционируют модели

Long time ago we had this discussion on military models forum and most of the guys who served said that Maisto model was off in terms of proportions and was about 1:20 (actually a common problem with fit into the box "budget" makers). Nobody was thrilled with EXOTO either Since I'm more concerend about getting the best representation possible for the money, Franklin Mint followed by 1:72 Dragon models was the way to go for me. If Aleksandra doesn't mind plastic, BBI made a few version of Humvees in 1:18 scale like this puppy: http://img505.imageshack.us/img505/4862/humveetv6.jpg Regards, Sergey -

Forget about EXOTO and Maisto. If you really want a proper early Hummer H1 model get either Franklin Mint one (my photos are here: Sergey's Franklin Mint 1:24 desert camo Humvee. Also, I've heard Tamiya 1:20 (not a kit!) is pretty good, but I have never seen one in person. http://img216.imageshack.us/img216/4522/023md.jpg Regards, Sergey -
1:18 Classic Carlectables 1969 Ford Falcon XW Bill Bourke Special This amazing car was built in Ford global HQ at Dearborn Michigan and presented as a gift to Ford of Australia Executive Director, Bill Bourke for outstanding achievements in guiding the company arm in the land Down Under. The car itself was a complete custom job, which easily could have blown away Bathurst winning XW/XY Moffat Falcons of that era primarily due to Cobra Jet 428 engine. Like 1:1 itself, 1:18 Classic Carlectables replica features "standox" paint job (i.e. the car color changes depending upon the lighting conditions). All in all, this is My Model of the Year for 2007 http://img509.imageshack.us/img509/8169/01ip9.jpg http://img172.imageshack.us/img172/2481/02hm8.jpg http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/1162/03ka8.jpg http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/6928/04kl2.jpg http://img172.imageshack.us/img172/8725/05hy2.jpg http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/2551/06mp0.jpg http://img172.imageshack.us/img172/8805/07ee0.jpg http://img172.imageshack.us/img172/4567/08zq8.jpg http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/1531/09jm2.jpg http://img172.imageshack.us/img172/7936/10we4.jpg http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/7820/11bp4.jpg http://img172.imageshack.us/img172/1476/12wj4.jpg http://img172.imageshack.us/img172/7098/13jk6.jpg http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/2379/14nt5.jpg http://img172.imageshack.us/img172/5606/15cb1.jpg http://img172.imageshack.us/img172/7333/16uo7.jpg http://img509.imageshack.us/img509/3751/17xq5.jpg http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/412/18qd2.jpg http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/6007/19my6.jpg Regards, Sergey

Welcome to the forum. 150+ 1:18 models definitely nothing to sneeze at. A lot of folks here collect American Iron, so you won't be lonely. Regards, Sergey

Great model. I have a similar one in white and convertible in black. However, the main question is where can I find friends like that!? At best, I can hope for Maisto since they don't know any better. GMP, somebody definitely put a thought or two into this gift. Regards, Sergey

Looks interesting. I didn't know know that A1 GP was that of a popular series from Amalgam and AutoArt to jump to make models of cars in it in 1:43 and 1:18 scales respectively: A1GP Team New Zealand http://www.amalgamcollection.com/en/graphics/amalgam/products/M5187TNZ_1200332930.jpg__800__0.png More here: Amalgam 1:43 models and A1GP Team Great Britain http://www.replicarz.com/images/AM143GB-Large.jpg Regards, Sergey

Bad news about the CMC pricing per Louie post on Project118: I got the latest price list from CMC this morning. A quick scan of the list, all but the 1:12 scale products will now carry a higher price tag than before. The newer models such as the 156 F1, the 250 TR, and the 911 are priced at $319 USD a piece. Previous releases will see increases around $15 to $31 USD per model. Regards, Sergey

Новое в моей коллекции (DjuZzz)

Classic Cralectables rules. Once again ERTL is a disappointment. The only decent vintage NASCAR models in 1:18 are Highway61 Hudsons and Chevy 150s That's it. I really tried to like Winged Warriors series, but these ERTL-based models are simply too crude. Regards, Sergey P.S. I hope I haven't offended anyone by writing in English. -

My additions for this week: FORD ESCORT I TC TEAM ALAN MANN RACING GP TOURING CARS NUERBURGRING 1968 GARDNER/GLEMSER http://www.minichamps.de/images/shoppic/media//de//normalpic/100688136_N.jpg Minichamps 2007 model of the Year. Huh? Who makes decisions like that? It's a very mediocre model with premium price tag. Nice exterior detail, but that's about it. Honestly, if it wasn't for god awful decals on many SunStar rally models, they would have been better than this Minichamps effort at less then half the price. Fiat 124 is superior no ifs or buts about it. DUCATI DESMO16 'GP VALENCIA' BAYLISS, TROY MOTOGP 2006 http://www.minichamps.de/images/shoppic/media//de//normalpic/122060012_N.jpg No disappointments here. :) FIGURINE SITTING ROSSI, VALENTINO MOTOGP 2005 WITH SUNGLASSES http://www.minichamps.de/images/shoppic/media//de//normalpic/312059046_N.jpg CITROEN XSARA WRC 2004 S.LOEB / D.ELENA (WINNER OF RALLY MONTE CARLO) "NIGHT RACE VERSION" http://www.aa-collection.com/autoartshopping/images/items/80434a2.jpg Regards, Sergey -
Once again, taken from Project118 Near Future CMC releases The 1964 Porsche 911 Coupe. Available in 4 colors! The 1961 Ferrari Dino F1 Sharknose. 3 versions coming! The 1958 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa. Also - new versions of the Auto Union Type C and the Mercedes Benz 165. That's all I know. Phil should be happy. Regards, Sergey

Hurry up, 2006 Nemechek Chevy (exactly the same one as Mark Martin) is not worth a lot due to low driver's popularity, but Earnhardt Jr's "Bud" cars are getting far and few in between. Regards, Sergey

1:16 2007 NASCAR #01 Chevrolet US Army Mark Martin I'm not a NASCAR fan or follow this series too much, but this Milestone Development tooling marketed by Motorsports Authentics (i.e. France-family owned conglomerate, which combined Team Caliber and Action brands under one roof) caught my eye. So, what's so special about this model? This is a pretty unique car, as it features REAL-Stamped sheet metal body, unique in the industry. I don't know whether Milestone Development managed to patent it before going out of business, but other companies should definitely look into this technology. The panels are very realistically thin and despite very large size, the model is very light. It's also detailed to the max, equaling and perhaps surpassing ELITE/Owners series in 1:24. On the negative side, 1:16 scale, what's that? This is not a farm equipment model. The graphics are all decals. They are incredibly well applied and "sealed"(Minichamps take notice), and, ironically as they are on 1:1. However, I would have preferred tampos. Unless, the body is removable, and I haven't figured a way to do so, all the interior detail is tough to look at. It's a real shame because besides seatbelts that can give AA a run for its money in terms of crappiness, the rest of interior looks like to be near the top of the business. All in all, I heartedly recommend picking up this Mark Martin ride as unlike Earnhardt Jr.'s Chevies, it can be bought on eBay for under $100USD making it an incredible value. Onto the pics... http://img186.imageshack.us/img186/1315/01cd0.jpg http://img186.imageshack.us/img186/1830/02jc6.jpg http://img126.imageshack.us/img126/1742/03vm1.jpg http://img126.imageshack.us/img126/8251/04cv1.jpg http://img186.imageshack.us/img186/1677/05jg1.jpg http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/7717/06od1.jpg http://img126.imageshack.us/img126/6875/08qz8.jpg http://img126.imageshack.us/img126/5540/09yn2.jpg http://img186.imageshack.us/img186/7159/10hx8.jpg http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/1921/11qp8.jpg http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/16/12vx8.jpg http://img126.imageshack.us/img126/4121/13ca9.jpg http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/2136/14wj6.jpg http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/3964/15qe2.jpg http://img126.imageshack.us/img126/9027/16rv0.jpg http://img126.imageshack.us/img126/8461/17za5.jpg http://img186.imageshack.us/img186/8480/18tq2.jpg Regards, Sergey

Once again guys, I can read and understand Russian on a level of native speaker, it's just my writing isn't worth a damn. So, feel free to write in Russian. I don't mind. Honestly, street cars are not my thing especially at $200USD so, I have no clue whether this is a reissue or not. Slayer might know something. Regards, Sergey -
