If you do not know the whole story here is a quick recap .Absolute Hot! were custodians for the 1/18 BMW X3 , 1/18 BMW 5er Gran Turismo , 1/18 BMW M3 GTS and 1/18 BMW 1er M Coupe aswell as the initial 1/18 6er Coupe and Cabrio. They were also responsible for the 1/43 BMW M3 GTS and BMW 1er M Coupe. Until they hit bankruptcy . The X3 and 1/43 BMW M3 GTS and 1/43 BMW 1er M Coupe were complete by the initial annoucement of liquidation. The 6er Coupe and Cabrio were pulled and given to Paragon. The 1/18 BMW 5er Gran Turismo and BMW M3 GTS and 1er M Coupe were left in limbo. Now lengthy bankruptcy proceedings have finished in China there is some good news Schuco who also had a lot of intellectual property caught up especially for some 1/43 models that will now get to see the light of day. A little-known diecast company RMZ models has now bought the property of Absolute Hot! so that means we will see the 1/18 BMW X3 and BMW 5er Gran Turismo and 1/43 BMW 1er M Coupe and M3 GTS finally hit the retail market. Both the X3 and 5er GT will be available as four colours each differing to the X3's deepsea Blue . Titanium Silver and Space Grey as you can see with the Black Sapphire example. Of course it remains to be seen whether BMW will want to commence with their missing 5er Gran Turismo in 1/18 as that is something that warrants further investigation. As does the M3 GTS and 1er M Coupe as I understand they initially began development just as the rug was pulled from underneath them. In the next week I hope to bring an exclusive first look of the latest BMW models such as 6er Gran Coupe , 3er Touring , M6 Coupe and Cabrio as a new 2013 Lifestyle catalog is about to be published. Hopefully I can show this before the Paris motorshow."
