Mm..try to use the "macro" (the "flower" icon on ur camera :) )

It's not the Macro settings, but the lack of natural light in San Francisco at this time of the year.

Cheap Canon cameras like my A540 are notorious for inability to focus in auto mode (I'm not that advanced to use full manual or to have professional set up) when multiple focus points are involved. Furthermore, another issue with cheap Canons is that pics on the monitor screen look nothing like the ones you see on the camera LCD screen.

On the other hand, for some reason my Bike models pis and 1:43 usually come great on a first try.

Sergey

Супер коллекция :) :)

Coming from you that's actually means a lot. Thanks buddy. I'm pretty much dead set on throwing away a monster couch in one of my rooms and putting two more display cases in. But that looks like 2009 project.

1:18 AutoArt 1984 BMW 635 Csi #8 Genuine BMW Parts Quester / Stuck

I really, really liked how well AutoArt applied the livery on this car. Hence, more pics than usual.

:) :) :D Хорош Бумер...

Thanks. I have three racing 635s. In theory, Jim Richards 1985 ATTC winning 635 should be the best looking one, but I can't find 1:18 JPS decals that fit this car and don't disintegrate upon contact with water.

Thanks for the tip, but I don't use Patto's decals anymore. They are too expensive and have issues with pixelation.

I don't mind at all. Whatever is easier for you is fine by me.

1:16 2007 NASCAR #01 Chevrolet US Army Mark Martin

I'm not a NASCAR fan or follow this series too much, but this Milestone Development tooling marketed by Motorsports Authentics (i.e. France-family owned conglomerate, which combined Team Caliber and Action brands under one roof) caught my eye.

So, what's so special about this model? This is a pretty unique car, as it features REAL-Stamped sheet metal body, unique in the industry. I don't know whether Milestone Development managed to patent it before going out of business, but other companies should definitely look into this technology. The panels are very realistically thin and despite very large size, the model is very light. It's also detailed to the max, equaling and perhaps surpassing ELITE/Owners series in 1:24.

On the negative side, 1:16 scale, what's that? This is not a farm equipment model. The graphics are all decals. They are incredibly well applied and "sealed"(Minichamps take notice), and, ironically as they are on 1:1. However, I would have preferred tampos. Unless, the body is removable, and I haven't figured a way to do so, all the interior detail is tough to look at. It's a real shame because besides seatbelts that can give AA a run for its money in terms of crappiness, the rest of interior looks like to be near the top of the business.

All in all, I heartedly recommend picking up this Mark Martin ride as unlike Earnhardt Jr.'s Chevies, it can be bought on eBay for under $100USD making it an incredible value.

Onto the pics...

fantastic model! I had never seen NASCAR models, but it very interesting to look at. so, its really outstanding, but I was disapointed that its 1:16 scale... In other case this scale can give us more details )))

P.S. Especially thanx for engine and underbody photos. Looks like CMC or Exoto level

Класс, сам давно кошусь на эти модели в 16-ом...

Hurry up, 2006 Nemechek Chevy (exactly the same one as Mark Martin) is not worth a lot due to low driver's popularity, but Earnhardt Jr's "Bud" cars are getting far and few in between.

1:18 Classic Carlectables 1969 Ford Falcon XW Bill Bourke Special

This amazing car was built in Ford global HQ at Dearborn Michigan and presented as a gift to Ford of Australia Executive Director, Bill Bourke for outstanding achievements in guiding the company arm in the land Down Under. The car itself was a complete custom job, which easily could have blown away Bathurst winning XW/XY Moffat Falcons of that era primarily due to Cobra Jet 428 engine. Like 1:1 itself, 1:18 Classic Carlectables replica features "standox" paint job (i.e. the car color changes depending upon the lighting conditions).

All in all, this is My Model of the Year for 2007
