Four Duesenbergs were bodied by Fernandez & Darrin with a Convertible Victoria style; two long wheelbase and two short wheelbase chassis.

Featured is the most famous of these, which was sold new to actress Greta Garbo.

It was first shown at the 1932 Paris Auto Salon.

This car is regarded as one of the finest coachbuilt car ever built upon a Duesenberg chassis.

Originally presented in black and blue scheme, it was repainted dark red later.

Since it has been restored in the original color Blue/Black and shown at the 2007 Pebble Beach Concourse d'Elegance where Duesenberg was the featured marquee.

Машина вроде бы не её, а какого-то француза, то-ли актёра, то-ли режиссёра.

Вот такой текст нашёл

Resplendent in metallic red with contrasting ivory interior trim and featuring an elegant three-position landau roof, this Duesenberg would later be made in two (perhaps three) otherconfigurations from 1932 through 1933. At some point in the history of these rare cars, a two-toned blue and black car became attributed to movie star Greta Garbo. Although she persisted in denying this, the legend of the Garbo Duesenberg continued as part of the mystique of this illusive actress. Some speculated that her denial of the car was due in part to not wanting to be recognized as she was driven in it. The Garbo mystery could very well be due in part to her friendship with French film star Suzy Vernon, who owned and was pictured many times with the blue and black Model J Duesenberg known as the "Garbo." Some speculate that this is how the legend began.

Тут написано, что эта машина имела первоначальную окраску синий/чёрный, а позднее перекрашена в тёмно-красный цвет. Я где-то встречал всё наоборот ;) Первоначальный цвет был вишнёвый (Парижский салон 1932 и 1933 годов), а в 1933 году перекрашен в синий/чёрный. Потом опять перекрашен в вишнёвый, а затем опять синий/чёрный. В любом случае, модель Иларио синий/чёрный это наши дни (никак не Гарбо) - отсутствуют дополнительные фары на бампере, фароискатель, задний бампер, другой центральный клаксон, другой багажник.

Я думаю это первая реставрация. По логике.

Вот ещё несколько машин от Фернандес энд Даррэн. Всего было 4 Дюзика. Все похожи, но при внимательном рассмотрении все разные.
