Очень расстроен. Напрочь убогая модель конченного производителя.

Как мог Daimler AG, 70546 Stuttgart, Germany дать лицензию и сделать это недоразумение дилерской продукцией в серии " Classic Selection"- ума не приложу...

Ближу 1,5 метра это разглядывать не рекомендуется, разглядывать вдумчиво, сравнивая с фото оригинала не рекомендуется категорически.

 

Вот характеристика модели от уважаемого (и весьма лояльного) Берндта Лоозена в MBMC News:

 

 

Here are, in no particular order, the main mistakes and omissions I can see (compare the model with the enclosed pictures of the original):

 

 

 

1 – The radiator appears too square, most likely because the top and bottom areas were not blackened.

 

2 – The "MB-Diesel" Logo on radiator far too small, and improperly located.

 

3 - Headlights: too low (headlight stems are too small).

 

4 - The shape of the front fenders is missing the gentle curve sloping down towards the attached front bumper.

 

5 – The bumper: too short at the ends.

 

6 - The wheelbase is accurate but chassis and platform are too long.

 

7 - Semaphore indicators (turn signals): too close to the cabin – also: location of rear-view mirror not quite accurate.

 

8 - Roof of cabin - where for heaven's sake did they see a roof like that on a "Lo"-type truck?? Should be smooth!

 

9 - Depth of cabin: too much cabin between the doors and the back wall of the cabin. There also is too much space between the back of the cabin and the platform.

 

10 - Width of hood at firewall: much too wide.

 

11 - The rear wheels (rims) are inaccurate. They should be concave and not convex. Even when compared to the "recreated" Lo2750, they are inaccurate.

 

 

In addition, specifically regarding the race transporter:

 

12 - The horn underneath the right-hand headlight is missing.

 

13 - There should be two toolboxes side by side underneath the loading platform and not only one (as seen on the model and on the “recreated” 2009 transporter).

 

14 - The two lights at roof level did not exist on the original transporter - this is a fancy addition taken from the “recreated” Lo2750 race transporter of 2009.

 

15 - The side panels are incorrect (the 5 vertical metal bars onto which the wooden slats are affixed were not as protruding on the original.) In addition there should only be 3 wood slats visible below the canvas cover, and not 5 as visible on the model, which means that the canvas cover is too short (or needed to be lowered).

 

16 - The printing on the sides is inaccurate (MERCED / ES-BEN / Z) as compared to the original truck. As well, the letters are too squat compared to the ones on the original.

 

17 - Finally, the license plate is not the accurate one for "transporter No.1" (it is IIIA - 13271 on the model, as compared to IIIA - 13397 on the original 1936 truck).

 

18 - I also miss the gas filler pipe, the cap of which is clearly visible at the bottom level of the cabin on the right hand side, behind the rear cabin wall on the 1936 truck(s). Consequently we are also left in the dark as to where the diesel-fuel tank is located.... (See picture.)

 

All this begs the question: is this a bad model of the original 1936 race transporter, or a bad model of the race transporter, which was "recreated" by Daimler in 2009, and which in itself is in fact in some points clearly inaccurate as compared to the original 1936 one........?

 

Yet surprisingly (or maybe not) the model is touted from several quarters as a marvelous one. It is indeed….as long as you don’t compare it to the original truck(s), be that the one from 1936 or its 2009 recreation/imitation!

Это, ну, как ево... На лучшее надеялся. По картинке вроде не страшно было. Да и так ничего, пока на прототип (сам по себе спорный) не глянешь.

Просто обидно такое отношение: сляпать как игрушку- пусть современную, аккуратную, но денег взять как за модель.

Для полноты разрушения мозга картины сфоткаешь всю синюю троицу вместе? "Blue Wonder" (CMC-шный, разумеется), O3500 и это... новое приобретение.
