сравню потом с китом провансовским. у меня их 2 штуки разных. но деталировка побогаче у пинко. в провансе некоторые детали вместе с корпусом одной деталью отлиты.

The MkII Cavalier was the UK market's version of the first car ever to be designed wholly on computer, the GM J-car programme. The main floorpan and structure of this 'virtually designed' General Motors world car lasted from its launch in 1981 until as recently as 2005. It was available all over the world in a bewildering variety of badges including Cadillac Cimarron, Pontiac 2000 Sunbird and Daewoo Espero. Even the second generation Saab 900 was based on the J-car.

No European automotive shape screams the early seventies as loudly as the Mk3 Cortina. Those glorious coke-bottle curved hips clothed genuine engineering progression, as the Mk3 offered double wishbone front suspension and the new more powerful belt driven overhead cam Pinto engine. It was also a remarkably refined car for its age, being one of the first truly mass produced vehicles to benefit from what would now be called an NVH (Noise Vibration and Harshness) development programme. In recent years the Mk3 has become something of a cult car as a whole generation of new owners find themselves wanting to wake up in 1973.

The Land Rover was originally created by the Rover car company as a quick way of getting production moving after the war. Sadly Rover ceased to make cars in 2005, but that initial stop-gap has inspired a successful and continuing family of vehicles, which currently runs to five basic types. This two-model set depicts the first and last of the Series 1 Land Rovers made: HUE 166, chassis number R-01, produced March 11th 1948 CYJ 573, chassis number 36104122, produced July 16th 1953. This set will be limited to 1758 pieces, the quantity of 80 Land Rovers made during the first year of production, 1948.

The Golf GTi heralded the modern hot hatch in 1975 but the competitively priced XR3 took the concept to the masses. Launched in 1980, the crisply styled and very well specified XR3 cost only £5123, £600 less than a GTi. However, in reality, the Ford was even more of a bargain because much of the equipment XR3 customers got as standard was an expensive option on the, by then, five year old GTi. Approximately ten percent of all Mk3s sold were XR3s, meaning around 185,000 units. The XR3 proved that performance vehicles could be mass-market profit earners, and transformed automotive marketing as a result.

Мне кажется занижена. Это и по лобовому заметно, и по "ветровичкам" в дверях, и по стеклу за дверью.

 

Любопытно, что у ABC Brianza руль слева.

Almost immediately after the Land Rovers launch in 1948, sales far exceeded Rovers expectations as so many organisations saw a role for it, including the Police, who quickly adopted the Land Rover, using them ever since. Its no exaggeration to say that the availability of the Land Rover completely revolutionised rural policing, allowing officers to travel to areas that had hitherto only been traversable on foot or horseback; meaning it soon became an essential armour for forces such as the Cumberland and Westmorland Constabulary.

In 1980, the first front wheel drive Escort, the Mk3 was born, though its competition potential was not as immediate as earlier marks. Then in 1982, Ford approached former British Saloon Car Class Champion and motorsport preparation expert Richard Longman with the idea of him running a worksbacked team in the 1983 British Saloon Car Championship. Sponsorship from Royal Mail Datapost and Avon Tyres meant that the cars were among the most eye-catching on the grid. Despite both Richard and team mate Alan Curnow gaining three class wins, they lost the Class C Championship. However, after many improvements throughout the Winter, Richard went on to win the 1984 BSCC Class C Championship by twenty-nine points, equating from six of the eleven events contested, also taking the Constructors Prize. If he had not got caught up in someone elses accident at Brands Hatch, he may have bettered second place in the overall Championship.

The Hillman Avenger always struggled to establish itself in the Panda Car role compared to market rivals, the Ford Escort, Vauxhall Viva and Morris Marina. However, a few forces did use them in the Unit Beat Car role or as general purpose vehicles. The Avon and Somerset Force had a large fleet of Avengers, even using some as unmarked transportation vehicles. They opted to buy them in the standard Hillman blue, instead of the more familiar Panda Car light blue, based on cost grounds.

Until the mid 1970s, responsibility for policing Heathrow and Gatwick airports fell to the British Airports Authority Constabulary, before disbanding. They had their own unique fleet of vehicles, including this Austin 1800, based at Heathrow airport, and several Austin 1100s. The car modelled was equipped with a PA loudspeaker on the front and a microphone in the cabin, which allowed the car to be used for the control of crowds, something that was a common and an important part of that particular forces duty.
