Automodello has decided to include Homage Editions into our future releases when there are no Founders or Tribute Editions. The Homage Edition will always be black with tan interior; and, hand-numbered. For the Spring 2012 Intermeccanica Italia, the number of convertibles during the first year of production was 24. Henceforth, all Homage Editions going forward will be limited to 24 units and carry a 235.00$US MSRP.
The known and upcoming Homage Editions are:
- AM-INT-ITA-HE Intermeccanica Italia Homage Edition is black with tan interior. The Italia was the last iteration that began with the Griffith Series 600 that was built by Intermeccanica, designed by Robert Cumberford and engineered by Mark Donohue - this model was released by Automodello at the 2011 Amelia Island Concours d' Elegance. Images of the Automodello Griffith Series 600 and a real 1:1 Italia are attached.
- AM-SUN-TIG-HE Sunbeam Tiger Homage Edition is black with tan interior and removable hardtop. An image of a real 1:1 Homage Edition is attached.
